Why did you want to intern with the TRC?
I have always been fascinated by the Department of Homeland Security and the functions it must prevent violent extremism. After the addition of my Global Studies minor, it was apparent to me that I needed to further my education in various research forums. I wanted to do research on specific terroristic threats to compare them to what was politically and historically relevant during that time.
What has been your favorite class at the University?
My favorite class has been Dr. Sebold’s class on Federalism.
What is a fun fact about yourself?
My first job was being a tour guide at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Arkansas!
What are your postgrad plans?
I plan on getting my master’s in international relations and Global Studies.
