A recent surge in harassment and intimidation against election officials has raised serious concerns about their safety and well-being. In an increasingly polarized political climate, these public servants are caught in a difficult position—balancing the need for transparency with the threat of personal exposure. Our report delves into this issue through the lens of Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), exploring how easily personal information about election officials can be uncovered and exploited by malicious actors. This study is part of a larger project that examines a broader pattern of escalating threats and violence against public figures in our democratic institutions.
