Chase Freeman is a senior in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences. Freeman has five majors in African and African American Studies, Criminology, French, History, and Sociology. At the TRC, Freeman works on coding information about the court process in federal human trafficking-related cases.

 

Why did you want to intern with the TRC?

I wanted to intern with the TRC to gain research experience and knowledge in human trafficking. 

What has been your favorite class at the University?

I cannot pinpoint one single class that was my favorite, but I have thoroughly enjoyed Studies in Francophone Literature, Wars of Religion – the Crusades until 9/11, and Social Data and Analysis.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

I used to be a nationally competitive figure skater and a figure skating coach.

What are your postgrad plans?

I am currently applying to Ph.D. programs, and I intend to commence my graduate studies after I finish my undergraduate degrees.
